For those who have registered for our Masungi Exploration Trips, here are a few things to keep in mind. Kasi malapit na ang scheduled tour natin!
-------------------------------- Pre-Tour tip:
#0.1. If you can, medyo mag-jogging na or brisk walk before your scheduled tour. If not, siguraduhing keribels mo na next day masakit ang kasukasuan mo.
#0.2. Charge your cameras, gopro, and cellphones! Bring extra battery din and maybe memory card. Photo Ops mode tayong lahat!
#0.3. WHAT TO WEAR: Hiking Shoes or any closed shoes that has thick soles, and is not slippery. Comfortable shirt/top, a dryfit shirt would be ideal since you will sweat in this hike. Shorts/Leggings. If you have gloves (the ones used for gym or biking), bring them. We'll be climbing ropes and di maiwasan kumapit sa rocks na matatalas. Caution in wearing yellow shirt and helme - unless you plan on channeling your inner minion. :)
-------------------------------- Eco-Trail Tips:
#1. Masungi Management is strict with their start time. Each group starts on time para di siksikan sa bawat attraction. That said, we need to leave on time.
#2. Have breakfast.
#3. You may leave your bulky bags with the van, but bring your valuables. We will be climbing ropes and rocks, so it's better not to bring big bags. There are passages that are so narrow, kaya pa-seksihan na lang tayo.
#4. Bawal magdala ng food sa Masungi, pero if you feel that you would need some light snacks (i.e. biscuits, powerbar), it's ok, but make sure not to throw any trash at the eco-trail. Anyway, they will serve sandwiches and juice naman in the middle of the trek kaya di naman tayo sobrang gutom and maka-rest din in the middle of the hike.
#5. May provided din sila na 500ml bottled water, but if you feel na kukulangin yun sa inyo, magdala na rin kayo ng extra water.
#6. Wear Sunscreen. ;)
#7. The hike should be 3-4 hours ideally, pero inabot kami ng mga 5 hours last time kasi todo picture-taking kami, and medyo mabagal din talaga mag-hike. #CriticallyFit.
#8. Depending on how long your batch would take to complete the trail, pwede pang mag-side trip, or at least late lunch before you go back to Cubao. basta 4pm alis na ng Rizal considering the traffic, and para makauwi din agad yung mga may work pa kinabukasan.
Give them time.
