Why Kilometer Zero PH?

We were on a boat heading to some beautiful island in Nothern Visayas when we started brainstorming about having a location-independent business. Something we can do that would allow us to travel more.

While the three of us have our own successes in the BPO industry, our love for travel has slowly gotten to us. And instead of having a freelance business consultancy, we decided to put-up our own Travel Agency.

First, we got to have a name. After a lot of Facbook chats brainstorming sessions, Anj came up with the name, Kilometer Zero on my birthday. But since the domain wasn't available, we decided to add PH, also to show that we are from and we love The Philippines! That same day, I brought the domain, and later on worked on our business registration. Since we can't register KilometerZeroPH in DTI, we agreed to have the business name KMZ Travel Services to comply with the naming standards.

There are times when we like to experience the raw beauty of a deserted island and bum on a virgin beach, so it's backpacking and camping for that kind of trip. But we also know that most of the time, a quick and nice luxurious trip to a popular destination can easily take away the stress we have from work. We also join group tours to satisfy our wanderlust and get the best bang for our buck.

Since we are incessant travelers and have the tendencies to be OC organizers, we're channeling our energy into something we are all passionate about. And because a lot of non-traveler friends, relatives and co-workers have always asked, if not depend on our OC-ness when we travel, we're starting this service to give you access to places where you dream of going to.
